Reducing our environmental footprint
More than 95% of our carbon emissions come from our supply chain. We have a responsibility to minimize our impact on the climate and protect our planet for future generations.

HERproject(R)
We’ve made a commitment to provide professional skills, health or education training to at least 100,000 women in our supply chain by December 2025. As of May 2023:
- 83,875 women workers enrolled in different BSR HER+ programs across 41 supplier factories in Bangladesh, India and Vietnam.
- 43,881 women workers have now completed HER programs of those enrolled.
The BSR HER program is now part of RISE: Reimagining Industry to Support Equality-a global initiative which combines four organizations to support collaborative industry action at scale.

Fashion Transparency Index (FTI)
The FTI ranks 250 of the world’s largest fashion brands and retailers according to what information they disclose about their social and environmental policies, practices, and impacts in their operations and supply chain.
- Ranked equal first in the global 2022 Fashion Transparency Index. Today we are third.
- First company to disclose all brand supplier factories.
- Achieved commitment to identify and publish the location of 100% of the processing facilities that produce our clothing, towel and bedding products.

Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)
The BCI is a sustainable cotton standard and program that exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in, and better for the sector’s future by developing Better Cotton as sustainable mainstream commodity.
- 2020: Achieved goal of 100% Better Cotton in our clothing, towel, and bedding ranges.
